Bass Blues Rhythms: a 12 Bar Minor Blues
In the previous lesson we played a complete 12 bar blues. The previous rhythm can be used with major chords or minor chords. This next exercises is a great bass riff for playing with minor chords. If you look at the sheet music and bass tab you will find that the bass is not play a full chord, it is playing notes that work with a scale or chord. This is called a bass riff.
Try playing this bass riff at different tempos. Note that the riff uses 2 fingering patterns for the same riff! You can play both patterns for the C and G. But the second one is needed for the F.
