DigiTech Introduces AudioDNA
SALT LAKE CITY - DigiTech, a Salt Lake City-based manufacturer of guitar signal processors, introduces AudioDNA™, a sixth generation audio signal processing chip. The AudioDNA chip uses the latest advancement in integrated circuit technologies to give musicians unprecedented signal processing capabilities.
AudioDNA is the core DSP hardware component of DigiTech’s technology and drives all modeling and effects processing as well as DigiTech’s new GENETX™ processing (see related press release). Using products based on this technology, musicians will have superior quality tone shaping tools to work with, allowing creative interaction with the tonal characteristics of their instrument. Users will also have a vast array of special effects to further shape and define their unique sound.

DigiTech has several new products that are based on AudioDNA technology. These products include the RP100, RP200 and RP300 modeling guitar processors, the GNX1 GENETX guitar processor that is designed for live performance, and the GENESIS3 GENETX guitar processor that is designed for recording.
