Easy 12 Bar Guitar Blues: Sheet Music and Tabs
After some basic music theory and some guitar blues basics it's time to play a complete 12 bar blues! First listen to the included sound file and bass and drum rhythm and try to read along. Try to keep track exactly where the guitar, bass and drum is in the sheet music and tab. If you can do that move to the next step.
Next try to read the guitar notes, either from tab or sheet music. What guitar notes and chords are played? And in what key is this 12 bar blues played?
Now try to play this 12 bar blues with different blues drum rhythm! Or even try to play it with a rock drum rhythm or funk rhythm.
If the chord are too difficult try to play the lowest note or two notes of each chord first. And you can also slow down the tempo.
