Easy Guitar Chord Finger Picking: Am the A minor Chord

In the previous lesson we played the G major chord, now let's look at another popular chord, the A minor, music symbol Am, chord. If you look at the next sheet music and guitar tab you will see that we not use 5 strings when playing this chord. To play the chord we need a new finger picking pattern.

1st string: pinky
2nd string: ring finger
3rd string: middle finger
4th string: index finger
5th string: Thumb
6th string:

Try to play along with the guitar music track. Remember to first set your fingers on the right frets when you start playing. If you can do this exercise you are a step closer to playing many fun and great songs on guitar.
