Ernie Ball Introduces New Earthwood/Phosphor Bronze String Set Displays
Ernie Ball gives music retailers an easy and versatile option for purchasing a variety of Ernie Ball acoustic string sets with a new Earthwood/Phosphor Bronze String Set Display, to be introduced at the NAMM show Jan. 18-21 and available to order immediately.
"The Acoustic String Display System is another demonstration of our ‘Music Store in a Box’ philosophy. We want retailers to have more time to focus on their customers, and continue to develop those important relationships, rather than worrying about ordering configurations and display difficulties in the store," said Byron Smith, product manager for Ernie Ball. An artistic "Ernie Ball" placard mounted on the display will provide and an easy way for customers to find the Ernie Ball strings that they are looking for.
Featuring sturdy steel construction, two displays are available, one for an assortment of medium gauge acoustic strings, and the other for light gauge acoustic strings. Each display contains six spring-loaded racks, ensuring that the sets of strings are held snug and are pushed to the front of the display. Each of the six display racks is capable of holding 24 to 36 sets, depending on the gauges the retailer chooses to stock. The display can easily be restocked, and when ordered new will come with the following combination of strings:
Light display:
Earthwood Acoustic Strings: Eight sets each of Medium Light, Light, Extra Light
Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Strings: Eight sets each of Medium Light, Light, Extra Light
Medium Display:
Earthwood Acoustic Strings: Eight sets each of Medium, Medium Light, Light
Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Strings: Eight sets each of Medium, Medium Light, Light
They will retail for $448, including the display system plus 48 sets of strings. Retailers can mount the displays on a pegboard (mounts are built into the display racks) or slatboard, or put them on shelves or countertops.
