Guitar Solo Playing: When to use Vibrato in Blues Music
The vibrato can be used on any note in guitar solo playing, but it will not make the solo sound better if you use it on every note. Some (intermediate) blues guitarists will start using it on every possible note, and it does sound like he/she can play some good guitar, but most listners and more experienced musicians don't like it. Try to think of it as the vocal vibrato most opera singers use. If you start using that style in pop music many pop listeners will not like it.
