Guitar Speed Exercises: Power Riffs
Power riffs are both difficult and easy. You usually don't have to use difficult chords on your guitar, but you have to keep playing tight notes. To start easy we'll use just single notes in this first riff. The rhythm pattern of these riffs all stay the same so you can just keep playing the same rhythm. Watch your right hand playing, it needs to be consistent!
Try playing a few of these exercises from tabs or sheet music, and if you find you have no problems moving from one exercise to the next at this tempo, or a higher tempo go to the next guitar lesson.
