Guitar Speed Exercises: Power Riffs 4The exercise in the previous guitar lesson probably was not that difficult yet so let's make this one a lot more difficult by adding a rest in the middle of the pattern. The notes in these exercises stay the same so you might think that you are training just your right hand in this exercise. But that's the case, you are also learning to have your right hand and left hand together. Each rest in the sheet music or tab is not just a note not played, but you have to lift your left hand finger to end the previous note at exactly the right moment. Give it a try, it's not that easy this time. Slow down the tempo if needed.
