John Ferrante to head J. D’Addario’s West Coast Artist Relations
J. D’Addario & Company, Inc. has named John Ferrante to the position of Artist Relations manager for J. D’Addario and Company, Inc.’s West Coast artist relations facility.
Ferrante’s main role with J. D’Addario will be to direct the operations of D’Addario’s Artist Relations group. He will also work with D’Addario, Evans and Vandoren Performing Artists from D’Addario’s new West Coast facility, D’Addario Studio West. Ferrante will be integral in developing marketing and Artist Relations group plans, coordinating shows and events and creating and implementing promotions with other companies, for all D’Addario brands, both in and out of the music industry.
"We’re happy and proud to have John join our company," states John Roderick, J. D’Addario’s Director of Marketing. "His experience in both the music and recording industry will help to set the pace for our Artist Relations efforts in the future."
Before joining D’Addario, Ferrante worked with SWR Sound Corporation, a manufacturer of bass and acoustic amplifiers in Sun Valley, CA, as the marketing manager and artist relations director. At SWR, he created national ad campaigns and organized the company’s presentations for NAMM shows. Prior to his stint with SWR, Ferrante was the operations manager for the independent record company Meltdown Records and was a promotion coordinator for Warner Brothers Records.
