Jazz Bass Scales Basics
Music scales are the building blocks of any music style. No matter if you play blues, rock, alternative, pop, metal, techno, dance, country or jazz, scales are the basis of any song. In some music styles just the major scales are standard in other music styles many different and exotic scales are used to create different styles and variations.
In jazz music many scales are used since jazz music is both an art form and music style. Jazz musicians have used about every known scale and even experiment with new scales.
