Jazz Guitar Chords: Tricks and Techniques

In the previous jazz guitar chords lessons we played the C major seventh chord, Cmaj7, and C major ninth, Cmaj9 chords. The more difficult chords get the more difficult it is to play these chords on guitar.

If you try to simply play each chord with the notes from the music theory, or how you would play it on piano, you would find it difficult to play these chords on guitar. Let's look at some basic music theory on these chords and some of the trick and techniques jazz guitarists use to play most chords.
