Playing C Major: Picking Chords on Bass Guitar
In this next example the chord is "picked", just like a guitarist would do with the chord. You simply play single notes from the chord on bass but instead of ending the note when you play the next sound you keep your finger on the fret and let the note playing until the end of the bar. Or until the next note or chord on that string.
If you look at the sheet music and tab you will see that it doesn't show the correct length for these bass notes. When playing this type of chords the notes are just used to show the rhythm, not the real length.
