Reading Bass Sheet Music Tab Rhythm Example

Now that we have looked at some of the basic of bass guitar sheet music and tab it is time to play a first basic rhythm on bass guitar. Take a look at the next bass sheet music and tab and listen to the included bass music rhythm and drums.

When you listen to the rhythm track you'll hear is a 4 count intro by the drums so you know what tempo to play. Then the bass plays four notes. If you look at the sheet music you'll see the notes are displayed. Below in the bass tab you'll see where to place your finger on the fretboard and on which string. The picture shows how to place your finger on the neck. Try to play along!
