Tuning the First String of your Guitar

Let's start with tuning the first string of your guitar. The first string is the thinnest string of your guitar.

Take a look at the sheet music and guitar tab below. This is the E4 note. The thinnest string of the guitar is tuned to the E4 note. Play the included sound file and try tuning it to this note. Remember don't tune it to high if you can't hear if it's higher or lower. If you tune it too high the tension in the string of your guitar gets to high and can break.
